Winter Blues

To match the dark, rainy and cold weather outside (summer where are you??) I wore these 4 shades on my nails throughout January.

These three brands are actually my favourite in terms of lasting power and price. The one I wore the most this month is the one from essence, only about 3 £ and the colour reminds me a lot of china glaze's secret periwinkle.

4 January favourites

Starting this whole blogging thing with something easy, my January favorites.

Not a lot of products I tried during January are worth being mentioned in this post, but these 4 are seriously amazing.

First of all I found this blush from Kiko hiding in the darkest corner of my makeup drawer, I completely forgot about it. I bought it already in summer oops. This blush actually really reminds me of summer, the beach, cocktails, and generally good times because of it's vibrant colours and the smell is just heavenly.

Then I've also been loving this tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier because I just couln't be bothered to wear heavy coverage foundations, even tough I probably should because I've been breaking out a lot more recently (help needed).

I picked this new EOS lipbalm up during my recent trip to the States. Honestly I only picked it up because of it's cool colours, because normally I find these lipbalms too dry. This one is the vanilla-mint flavoured one. Even tough I'm not that big of a fan of mint flavoured lipproducts, I really enjoy using this one and it's not too dry on the lips.

My absolute favourite is this eyeshadow from Maybelline. It's the colour tattoo in the colour 'on and on bronze'. For me it's the perfect shade to put on, even when I'm in a rush to go out, and it stays in place all day. (nap during the day included).

Have a wonderful day,
Ara
